Words From Today

The following is from my morning with God....what a journey. This journey began with questions....and ended with the answers He chose for this day.
My prayer....
I am seated in the heavenlies with You
How I wish I could appreciate the View
The things of the earth cloud my sight
They won't go away though I've prayed they might
What is the solution
When will I see your promises fruition
What is the purpose of this mess
For I am told in scripture that You will bless
Set me free...

As I sat listening these were the answers He gave. May the Spirit allow you to follow if this is for you today.
I was reminded that many of us only see God in a Fatherly role...and yet from within Him flows the qualities of both Father and Mother.
After this reminder this is where my heart and mind went....Thank You for being both my Father and Mother. Thank you for not letting go even when I want you to. ( I see a child pulling against the hand of its mother. The mother stands tall and can see the rush of traffic. She knows her child is in eminent danger and that her child can not see the traffic raging ahead. She will not let go even though the child screams and kicks. She picks the child up and carries it away-settling the child-calming it until the child will quietly listen. Even then there is a stubborn heart in that child. A heart that says that she would have been able to handle it on her own. And knowing that the mother will not release the child to walk freely until she grows and is able to see with the eyes of the mother. Soon the child's heart will too quiet and see the wisdom of her mother.)
I see that He is here with me to protect and bring about the Life of Christ in me.
Col. 1:27-29
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentile the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Christ in me the hope of Glory.....His energy so powerfully at work in me.
What an amazing truth!
His life in me....an eternal life.
Next..
1 John 2:25 Here is a bit from a devotional He lead me to...www.raysteadman.org
"Lord, You are in me, and You have come in me to live through me. This situation has been brought about by Your planning and programing. Father, I would not be in it if it were not for You. Now, Lord, do through me what you want to do with it."
I was then lead to a portion in my NIV study Bible that spoke to my spirit......Job 1:7 page 1015......"To be unshakable, faith must be built on the confidence that God's ultimate purpose will come to pass.
Christ in me the hope of Glory.
Thank You for revealing to me this glorious mystery....Christ in me, the hope of glory. Thank you that I can proclaim, admonish and teach everyone with wisdom so that they may be presented perfect in Christ. Thank you that I can labor, struggling with Your energy, which is so powerfully at work in me.
Thank You that I am being renewed in the knowledge in the image of you God.
Col 3:10
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

And this is the thought He left me with.....Col.3:3....For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
If I am now hidden with Christ in God...my life hidden in Him....are there any worries tucked away in God?
Of course not!
So as I am being renewed in the image of my Creator this soul will come to realize that it is tucked safely away in its Creator and there are no worries allowed in Him.
May God bless the reading and study of His Word.
May we have eyes to see and ears to hear....may it sink deep into the marrow of our bones and bring about the true life He came to give.
He in me...and I in Him.......no worries.

Love you!

Good stuff. I heard a sermon Sunday that really hit things on the head for me... His love is being perfected in me through brokeness and a resulting weakness. OH MY IS IT! He is so good to keep taking us deeper in our relationship with Him. God in me and less of me...often a painful process but so sweet when realized.
