The state of the bride?

Feb/14/2008

I saw the mass lying broken and mangled
No longer bloody
But now healed and deformed in nature
a Spirit of light is moving
over the carcasses to
reveal each bent and twisted limb
As it goes
it will reveal
each fissure and splint under broken pressure
Now I see the hand of God
coming down
to grasp the limb
He gently
takes it in both hands and
re breaks the bone
exposing a marrow that is gray
and crumbly
He takes the spit from
His mouth and touches
it to the edge of
the broken bone
and the bone
once gray with
ash color now becomes
white and the marrow
becomes moist and thick
filling the bone once again
With gentle hand
He put the bone back
together closing the
fissure until there is
no evidence of the break
Red muscle tissue once
again wraps and clings
to the bone
wrapping
Its way up strengthening the bone
And then flesh
Pure pink baby flesh
but resilient
the mass heap begins
to move
limbs untangling from
the trash heap
faces smiling
hair luxurious bright eyes
clear complexions
and then She reaches
out with both hands
and says come
but she is drawing the
wrong one to her
chest
He is a deceiver
see his sly Knowing
smile
He is not the healer
he is an interloper
God can’t she see
Does she not Know-can
She not feel he is
not the healer
God help her!
the shock on her face as
she realizes
that she has
drawn to herself
the deceiver

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

This is where my mind has been for over a year now. And yes, I know it is a heavy subject.
But it needs to be talked about. So I am throwing it out here.
I have talked this over with my pastor.
-------
So we have humbled ourselves and prayed.
We have even turned from our wicked ways.?????
God has heard and healed. In the way we have let Him.
But, I am concerned that if we are not very careful---we will give credit where credit is not due.
Not on purpose.
Maybe because- once all is mended, we will turn and move on and loose sight of the true healer.
We are told that in the last days there will be wolves in sheep's clothing.
We are told that it is possible that the very elect will be deceived.
The above was a very vivid vision.
The only way we will be protected is to know THE TRUTH and bury it deep inside our hearts.
Then when we meet sheep and we our spirits are tempted to say--
My what big teeth you have.
Or.
My what what big ears you have.
We will remember the TRUTH and that truth will set us free from entanglement.
The path is narrow and few will find it.
Bury His word deep-till it becomes the living marrow in your bones.

Thoughts??????
Have you been hearing the same thing?

Wow, girlfriend. Looks like some are afraid to respond here! LOL! I think it was awesome too! And yeah, I feel it. I see it! I see it in our nation. I see it IN the church. I see it on the news. I see it in people I know and love. AND lately I feel the enemy working hard to tempt me, but he isn't even close to getting me there! I feel stronger than ever! I think that in these last days it is inevitable as the tares are separated from the stalks of grain. And I cling to the promise that He is faithful to finish the good work He has begun in me. And I stand on the promise that those who are His know His voice and none can be snatched from His hand. And I pray for our nation more fervently than ever! Love this post. Love your heart!

Ok, here goes, I love your post because it confirmed some things brewing in me...my spirit has been disturbed this week, as we approach Holy week. I'm mindful in a way I have never been before of the significance. I'm very visual, and I think descriptively, and I keep thinking sack cloth and ashes, and that in the Bible no nation got straight without some sack cloth and ashes (or various other forms of grief and bad times) (I know that the option is available of repenting before the nation falls, but our human nature seems to prefer that harder route!), and I am starting to feel compelled to throw it out for thought...not sure yet, will see (prayer). I know this probably sounds very strange, but, I am counting on you knowing me for not a kook! :)

But, I will say NO, we have not humbled ourselves. We unequivocally have not. It concerns me greatly. I myself see the distraction in my life, the lack of pressing...

Anyway, as far as the wolves in sheep clothing, yes, about 1 mo or so ago, I was led to revisit and study closely those scriptures, and was really struck anew w/the implications to present day.

That is where my post "Let the Word Speak" came from...I don't believe you saw it...February I think.

Sharon, I so very much appreciate the voice and gift God has bestowed to you and your careful working of it as led by the Holy Spirit.

God bless!
Maria

One thought that comes to mind and especially where this upcoming Emergent Church movement is concerned is that we must pick up our swords and use them. The swords need to be the Rhema Word and not the Logos word which a lot of churches are built upon (Logos not Rhema). I am under the impression that Jesus' coming is sooner than we think and all the signs are there. Granted, other generations have said the same thing and I could be off, but it sure looks like it to me. We can't have churches with man-made programs, they must be Spirit-led worship and service (verb) not noun. For now, the Emergent Church is a huge concern to me. Of course, I ran from churches that taught from a man's book and 40 day program instead of the word. I ran fast too!

I am in much agreement with you my friend. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus is coming back soon. We need to open our eyes, and ears. We need to listen for that still small voice calling us. Deceivers are everywhere around us, we need to be clothed in our full armour. Thanks for this sis, I love you.

We need to study the Truth so hard and long that we will recognize the counterfeit. We have the ammo, but how often do we equip ourselves. Daily should be our goal!

We need to instill the Word of God in our hearts so we will know the deceiver when he tries to lure us into his web. A very powerful post and one that I agree with wholeheartedly. Jesus will come back and all the signs are there that we are in the last days. Of course other generations have said the same, but there are so many signs that written in the Word that are taking place daily.

Thanks for sharing. I continue to pray for you and your family.

Love and hugs, Sis
Mary

I had an excellent conversation at a Christian bookstore. It is not your mainstream bookstore where anything and everything so-called Christian is sold. I left feeling very encouraged. The owner used to the think the Church was alright and soon discovered that it's not. We need to pray for the Church. Agreed? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Sometimes I believe that "fear" isn't there in the majority.

"For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God." II Cor. 2:15-17.
We are to be the sweet fragrance to the world for Christ. I feel like there are so many who claim to belong to Him but don't...so when another unbeliever sees their actions they have the wrong impression of the Christian life. I even feel that there are some true Christians that get caught up in ministry and they do it for their recognition and not for His glory. I too have felt satan's breeze of lurking about but I agree that I too feel so strong right now as not to fall for his lies. I believe in absolute truth..there is no grey. It's black or white...true or false. The world has said well that's not so bad and I guess that's okay it's just a small gesture or comment...next thing the tv screen if full of trash.
