Tales From The Scales
Wellllllllllll----not doing so well. Is it o.k if I weigh myself this way today?
Can you say, GAIN? That is what happened on the scales behind this computer this week. I guess you could say that I ate my way through Texas this past week.
I took my pedometer with me and used it about four days. I guess since it said I was over four miles each day, I thought I could eat how much ever I wanted. Not a good idea.
So once again it is time to get a grip on my lips and remember my goal.
Hope you had a successful week. But if not--let's get going again.
Back to the............water, not putting food in our mouths unless we are hungry, and for pete's sake---PUT DOWN THAT FORK WHEN YOU ARE SATISFIED--not stuffed.

Good advice- i love the cartoon. Laughter is good exercise too! Good positive attitude. You will get back on track. It is hard while away and traveling.

Awww...it is a hard thing to diet on vacation, especially with beef jerky (maybe it's water weight!...all the salt in beef jerky you know :) So give it a few days to see. I'm praying for you, Girl!

Yes, you have to listen to those subtle signals that you are full. Once you get doing that you will do better. Congratulations on keeping with the challenge, I hope that next week will be a loss for you!!
I'm with you - had a bad week health-wise. I didn't think I did too badly with total calorie intake, but the scale tells a different story. Darn thing. We are back to great choices and a better week, though!
