A WORD in the night

Night before last.....while in a deep sleep a word came to me.
I do not remember the dream that brought the word to mind...if there was a dream....but while still asleep I told myself not to forget the word floating in my head. And even while drifting off to another dream scene...my mind kept reminding me to not forget this word. I will say that I have not had this type of thing happen before. Dreams- yes...floating words-no. This word although familiar as a word....was not one that I would ever use naturally and so I was unfamiliar with its definition.
I was reminded over and over in my sleep to look it up when I woke up.
Pretty cool! You and I both know that many times the feeling of a dream will linger when we wake....and yet the elements of the dream are like a distant fog. This was not. As soon as I got up the word began running through my mind over and over.
Excited to see- what surely must have been from the Lord- I pulled up the dictionary on line and put in the word. I have to admit that it was unfamiliar enough that I misspelled it. :) But thank heaven they knew what I was trying to spell and up popped the word in the night..........UBIQUITOUS.
Maybe this definition is familiar to you...but just in case this word is not a normal part of your daily vocabulary- here is the definition listed on Dictionary.com.
"existing or being everywhere, esp. at the same time; omnipresent:
 ubiquitous fog; ubiquitous little ants."
I'll have to say that I was pretty excited to see that....I knew it was a message from God.
Maybe it is some part of a puzzle that He will fill in at a later time....or maybe it is an answer in itself.
You see at this time I am surround by several women who need to know that God is Ubiquitous
Here are a few scenarios so that you can understand what I mean.
~
A woman who has been told that her cancer has returned....and this time
instead of two tumors....there are six or more. Hope is slim.
 *
A woman who finds that she no longer loves her husband or even trusts him.
*
A woman who is staying with her husband because he provides well for her family...there is no love.
*
A woman with a new child who does not know how her family will be provided for as her husband returns to school.
*
And a woman raising two children while her husband is off doing military duty.
*
A woman walking with the Lord while her husband refuses to get his life right with God.
~
And there are a few more that I won't list. All of these women  have needs that can not met by me.
And although I would love to be the cure all....not that they are asking me to be.....I AM NOT-- even though I would love to touch each of these lives and bring healing.
BUT.......HE IS!
How I have learned in the past few years that...... He IS.
I think that maybe God is leading me to tie in these lives with the Psalm 23.
So if I am hearing Him right.....I would love to come back and show how He IS through the verses found in this chapter.
Till then......The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
And in the meantime while you sleep....remember this....

14 For God does speak—now one way, now another—
though man may not perceive it.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men
as they slumber in their beds,
Job 33

What a great word! A wonderful reminder of His constant presence. The word picture of fog is awesome as I have been in a fog so thick it seemed to wrap itself around you! I pray that He will use you to minister to these women.

Oh! How wonderful! I love it! Thanks so much for sharing it! I pray that these women receive a special blessing from the Lord and that this word given to you will also make it to their hearts...the full meaning of it! Asking blessings so that you will be used of Him to reach others. Ubiquitous. I think I will be saying it over and over to myself as well! A timely word for me too! Blessings sweet sister.
