Stranger here

Yes, I know......I am becoming a stranger here!
But, life has been oh so busy and time on the computer has been little to none.
Since I was here last.....we welcomed our first grand-baby! She was born on the 14th of this month....8lbs 4oz. Her name is Annalise Nicole Brumfield and of course I think she is a beauty.
We took a quick weekend trip and spent 24 hours on the road in four days.....just to see her and hug her Mom and Dads neck.
Here is "grandma" trying to get Annalise out of her milk stupor to get that much needed burp.
It was sweet to be able to spend some time caring for her while Mom got a little sleep. I have already placed a photo album on FB so I won't put anymore pictures here. But we had a great time....and we hope to see her again before she graduates from high school. :)
We got back this past Monday and I began training with a company I am now working for. Home Instead Senior Care is a company that is functioning across the united states-its goal is to provid non medical care for those seniors who want to stay in their homes as long as they can. I trained for several hours on Tuesday and began working my first case on Wednesday. My sweet client is 99 years old and you would never know it. We got along great and I do hope that after our conference at Lake Junaluska this week I will be able to go back and continue working for her. As you can imagine we had some great conversations as she told me a little about her history. She says she is a Christian and I look forward to being able to read the Bible to her since her eye sight is almost gone.
I am going to keep this short. This week we will be doing our conference on the lake. Please pray for all the lives we will touch. Pray that God will prepare their hearts and ours for the wonderful work He wants to do.

I do miss you guys.  I don't know if my time here is coming to an end.....I seem to be finding less and less time to be here. I have been asked to participate in a new ministry web site that will be opening soon and I am praying about my involvement with this new work of God.  I so don't want to loose touch with all of you.....you have touched my heart in ways you will never know until we reach the other side. Forgive me for not being able to get around to check on you.....this week will be packed full so there is no way that I will make it around. But I do want to get around once things settle in to a normal schedule. I love you and I think of you all often.....sweetly remembering you in my prayers.
Keep doing the thing He has called us to......one day soon we will reap the reward of our labors.
May His grace and peace surround you!
Goodness!....God knows the love for you that is in my heart. :)

She sure is a sweet little thing...Grandma is proud I know. Girl, you keep doing what God has for you too. I don't write in my blog often...hope you don't just quit...just slow it down...would be terrible to lose contact. I will pray for this coming week for you. Amy has orientation at her new school next 2 days and we will have a hectic week too. YOu did know she is going to full time charter school? I am not going to homeschool here..I was not planning too for high school anyway so she starts one year earlier. It is a good one it is just 22 miles away but closer to my mom so I will get to see her more often. She is really losing it lately. Can't remember anything...oh she still knows us but the everyday stuff is just not there. She has an aide that comes in and makes her meals, cleans a little and makes sure she takes her meds right. She too wants to stay in her home as long as she can. Love ya girl,,,God is always using us...just don't fall completely away from her.....

Congrats again Ms. Sharon and I understand about the blogging thing. I promise we must be in similar places because I'm not sure how much longer I'll be blogging either...

Congratulations Sharon! She's a cutie. I wanted to tell you how you have impacted me, with your passion for God and truth. Some people pass through our lives, others stay in our hearts and are remembered - you are remembered indeed.

I know this is a new and busy season. New life, new baby, new things. Doesn't Annalise mean Grace and favour too?

Grace and favour upon your life!

What a sweetie! I would like to hear more about your new job and the this new ministry website some time. I, too, am finding it hard to blog these days- life is busy, etc, and the words just aren't coming easy! Take care, Sharon, and thanks for checking in on me. :)

I love that that baby! She is beautiful! And you look beautiful too! I like your hair growing out like that! It suits you!

So glad for your changing season, I just know that God is and will be increasingly using you to be a light nd blessing in these people's live, this is such a critical time in their lives, they need people like you to minister to them.

Excited for your new web-venture! I know what you mean about having a hard time how and if to continue certain things, but I have just learned to go with the flow, be at peace! Know you are loved and we are all grateful for how you have touched us, and in this age of technology we have many ways to connect from time to time. They ALL belong to God!

much love!
