Still alive and well

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth. :)

I have been running a marathon of errands this last week trying to get all things done
that must be done
before I get lost in school for the next six weeks.
Can I say that I am just a tad nervous?
Not for the school part....but for all the hours I will be spending outside the home.
I am sure that you will understand how I want to make sure that my family does not feel neglected.
Looking for some real guidance from God.....and I am fully confident that He will work all of this out according to the plans He has already made.
But I still have butterflies.
I'll try and come back tomorrow and let you know how the first day went.
Talk to you soon!

Sharon, I was so excited that you came by my site and visited. I am new to blogging and hope to make many friends :) You will do fine in school. I am 53 and just finishing up my degree. I was very intimidated at first but once you get in the swing of things it will be a breeze. Will keep you in my prayers. I think I see a nurse in the making LOL.

How exciting. You will do great and your family will have a new appreciation for you, but I so understand that feeling...felt the same about going back to work just three days a month! Hugs!

You might be pleasantly surprised at how it will all work itself out. It's exciting at the same time and I am excited for you.

Just take one day at a time...and get some good crock pot recipes on the go! Will be thinking of you as you get ready to start school. I would be nervous too- I think that is a pretty normal way to feel. When I took my training, there were a couple of older ladies in my class (I am not saying you are old, but I was 18), so anything over 25 was older. Anyways, these ones were about 45, and they brought a lot of wisdom and perspective to our group. I enjoyed my time with them studying and going on practicums. I am sure that you will bless those in school with you.

You will be just fine. I did it at 36, with 2 kids still at home. I will keep you in my prayers. Just remember to take care of yourself. You will make a fantastic nurse!
Love Ya
