The Short and Sweet of it

This is a readers digest version of our life the last week or so!
First I guess I should say that Keith did not hear back from the tractor place. :(
And although I was a tad down about that....I do know that God is taking care of us and in His time Keith will get a job. Till then....we rest!
My name did make it in on the sub list although there was a mess up with my paper work.
I was told that I should have a business card to pass out...so since I am professional now  ;)
here is what I picked out.

Of course the info on the card is going to be different...duh!...but you get the idea. I had looked at a card that was a little more taaaadah!.....but I think this gets the idea across without looking pretentious.
Elayne is home and doing fairly well.
She is having some problems with fluid in her lungs....so we will probably make a trip to Asheville tomorrow so that she can have an ex-ray done. Please be praying for her spirit....it is pretty low.
And pray that God will give the doctors in Charlotte wisdom as they decide Tuesday if she will be able to have any more I-L 2 treatments.
I got Beth Moore's new book today...anybody else reading through it?
In case you are not familiar with the new release it is---
So Long, Insecurity you've been a bad friend to us.
Let  me know if you are reading it...maybe we can have some discussion.
I know that they are doing a discussion group over at the LPM blog....but there are so many women participating that it might be fun to do something a little smaller here.
What say you?
And for the last bit of news.....found out today that instead of the Carpal Tunnel that I was told I had....I have some pretty decent arthritis in my right hand. Surprise, surprise!
So I am going to be able to get a custom brace made for my hand and do a little physical therapy.
And...... yes Mom, I will go and get some yam cream so that we can see if the progesterone will help. :)
Anybody else know of any home remedies?
That is about it from this cold section of the country.
How are you doing?
Ready for some warm weather? I was just thinking today how nice it will be to sit out at the picnic table for a meal......but not for a few months.
Love you....stay warm.....you are blessed!

Hey sweet sis, prayers are being sent your way, asking God to send work into keith's life soon. I really like that business card, nice choice.Praying for Elayne, may God heal her, and comfort her. Asking God to help you with your arthritis. I love you.

I got the Beth Moore book yesterday too and have started delving in, pressing the buttons already.

Took my almost 9 year old to the dentist today to have 2 teeth out, he freaked big time so they could not continue, meaning we needed to find a specialist who will sedate him - sorted that out and he goes on Tuesday.

Was stressful, but trusting God with him!

Praying that a job comes through for Keith real soon.

We were blessed to have the major snow storm miss us and only received 8 inches.

Read Beth's book and going back to re-read. Will stop by to see what's being discussed here.

I liked this nice chatty post! Sorry about the hand. Is the yam cream for arthritis? I use a menogest cream with black cohosh and wild yam in it for my peri-menopause symptoms. For my arthritis I juice ginger root daily(with my carrots and celery)(Ginger root thins the blood by the way), avoid oranges and too much iron, and eat pineapple which has bromain in it which is good for pain. Will continue prayers for your hubby and your friend. We have lots of snow our way...with more coming. A little tired of the nuisance of it when it comes in such large amounts! Blessings! Have a great weekend.

Hi ~ I'm trying to get the word out about an old Lenten tradition from Finland, it's especially good for observing Lent with children. I posted about it awhile back, the link is here, Lenten Grass.

Please forgive my commenting 'off topic'. If you find this inappropriate, please just delete the comment, I looked for but didn't find an e-mail address.

Many thanks, Alanna
