Checking in

Don't have much time here this morning but wanted to stop in and say......Hi!
We had a great Thanksgiving....hope you did too.
I am off to court this morning. I SOOOOO hope that this will bring my case with the Guardian Ad Litem to an end. We are asking the Judge to return the children to their family.
They have been out of the home for a year now....and since all charges have been dropped it is way past time for us to step out of this families life and let them move on.
Other than that I have applied for a part time job....waiting to hear on that...hopefully soon.
Oh....and did I tell you that I am going to be a grandma?
I will go into those details a little later....btw...our son is the father to be.
But..... me a grandma?
Sounds a little strange.....do you ever feel old enough to be a grandparent?
That will have to do for this morning since I need to run and get everything ironed so I am in proper attire for court.
Thanking God this morning that He chose to pursue and come after us by sending His Son.

Wow! A grandma! Can't wait to hear the details! How exciting yet daunting to think on! I hope that the family you speak of can move on in the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to be a godly family full of love and joy!

So glad you had a good Thanksgiving! Hugs to you sweet sister! Hope the part time job comes through. I am finally adjusting well to mine...but only work 3-4 times a month! Still it is good and was an adjustment! Love ya!

A GRANDMA!!! I'm happy for you & look forward to those days (if we are so blessed!) one day.

Just want to say "thank you" for being such a faithful supporter to me over the years. You are such a wonderful friend! Life has been crazy busy for me and our computer has been crazy SLOW (needs an upgrade) so I haven't been blog-hopping much, or at least commenting. Glad to read that you joined TOPS. It has been a wonderful experience for me -- I'm so glad that I stepped out & joined. I wasn't sure what to expect but our group is so supportive. I've learned so much and I really feel like they care. And it's so affordable, I don't even notice the cost. ((( hugs )))
Love, D

Sharon,

I hope the court case went well. It is hardest on the children and not a nice position for them to be in.

Congratulations on becoming a grandma. It is soooo fun. You are going to love it. Will the grandbaby be close to you?

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, dear friend.

Blessings,
Mary

Hoping everything went well in court. It is so sad when things like that happen to children. And, as far as becoming a grandma, I can say that it is one of the best things that can happen to you. I am a grandma to four and a great-grandma to one. Grandkids are a joy. Congratulations to you. When is this grand event going to take place? I'm sure you will get much use out of your new camera. By the way, thank you so much for your sweet comment.

Love you, girl!

P.S. Good luck with your part time job. If it's God's will, you will have it. I could use one myself.

Grandma? Well that came out of nowhere, huh? Have you told your parents they are going to be Great Grandparents soon? How did they take the news? :) Seriously though, Congratulations! Grandma :)
