Praying for a little intervention--well really a lot of intervention!

For some reason I just don't have a whole lot to say.
Could it be that trying to wrap my mind around Isaiah is sapping all my energy?
Maybe that is why even with my coffee in hand
I was still having a problem staying awake for my devotions.
My couch looks like it has been dumped on by a shelf at the library.
Bibles, notebooks, commentaries.......
Dear God---Help!
We are just on chapter 6!
Glad He is the one doing the teaching. \o/

Looking for a little...well truly---- a lot of the TRUE POWER!
Could YOU please come and explain this book that YOU wrote?
Thank YOU in advance for the purely spectacular ride YOU have us on.

Funny, I don't have a lot to say either. There's a lot going on in my heart, but words just don't seem to fit it all right now. Love ya!

Thanks for being the first to check out my 150th post. I can't believe you are at a loss for words, but it will come. You still have an inspiring blog...and don't you ever think of quitting.

Still waters run deep. God is going to burst on the scene and fill you up and you will overflow! I just know it! I just love the spirit I catch from your posts. I would love to live closer and be in your study with you! You go girl! Love the cartoons!

Sharon, it is good that the Spirit is calling you to spend time with some "stolen moments" :) with Him! As I was praying for you yesterday, I was impressed for God to just fill you and surround you with His love, because you pour out so fiercely and so faithfully. I just know He wants to bless you, and then you in turn will have more fine wine to pour out! We can't wait to hear! What good things He teaches you!

love ya'!

I had a great teacher in the 80's and one thing she taught me was that you cannot rush a revelation...I have tried to do that in my teaching years and I always had to go back and correct myself......

She taught me that you read and read and read and then you read again..... and having done all READ........ the word is alive and it has to move through the flesh that has no idea what it is saying and has to penetrate the spirit man......... I hate that and I want to get it right now Lord........(there goes my patience teaching out the window) I have found that I learn more when I am not trying to learn...... It is a fine balance......... I have been reading Isaiah 6-10 today ........ tough scripture....... Have you ever gone to the web site http://www.blueletterbible.org/index.html I usually am on that web site every evening..... it is full of commentary and study guides and such....... check it out when you get a min...................

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first or last time) but when you want to germinate a seed, you have to soak it in water. Perhaps the seeds you are readying to plant via your blog are just being soaked in the water of His Word just now.

Oh Sharon. I have been in Isaiah myself. I would love to read your thoughts as you study and learn. Please, share what He is teaching you. How exciting!

I stopped in to let you know that my first exam at bible college is in one week. (Thursday the 28th) To say I am nervous is putting it lightly. I am trying not to stress totally. I know you are rooting for me, so I just wanted to stop by and update you.

Thanks!! Have a great weekend.

Hm - I totally know what you mean, girl. I always have a hard time wrapping my mind around Old Testament passages. The only ones I frequently use are Psalms and Proverbs...I hope that He will give the insight you need to your study.

(((hugs))) and blessings.

I just wanted to stop in and say that I'm enjoying your blog and add me to your "list of girls." Loved your post from Tuesday. I can't tell you how long I have longed for a group of ladies to fellowship w/ and study the word with. You are very lucky. Please continue to share with us from your bible study. I will pray the Lord will reveal what He has for you (and us) through His word. BTW- have you recieved your apple cake yet? It is so yummy! Hope it blesses your day!
