I think I will stick with waxing. This looks like a lengthy procedure and one that wouldn't be too comfortable.

It is suppose to last longer and be more sanitary than the wax my fringed who lives too far for me to go with is a nurse and she will NOT do wax.

RYC: Yes, and a scanner is great for copying printed pages too (newspaper articles etc.) to either print out or store on your hard drive. All kinds of uses! I purchased my old one (and used it for about 6 years) for $10 at a garage sale! D

I get my eyebrows (and my upper lip, sshh) threaded - I'm in an area of London with a lot of Indian people so threading is popular and cheap (£3 for eyebrows). I'd only ever used tweezers before and the result with threading is much better. I go about every 4-6 weeks. The upper lip bit really does sting, but it is all surprisingly quick. What you don't see on the film is that the thread is usually anchored between the teeth of the threader as well as being grasped by both hands (that did worry me a little at first until I was convinced that it is just held there rather than being passed through the mouth!).
