My stalls been mucked out

Hey everybody--missed ya'll. God has been the ever gentle instructor. He had to do a little cleaning out before He could move any further. It was painful and stinky. But I pray that the end result is a sweet smelling savor before our Father.

Here is a little section from a devotional I received this morning--it is so where I have been. Bottom line--I want His heart. If I have His heart--I'll be Him on this earth. So I pray that during my break He gave me a little open heart surgery. I pray He cracked open my chest and opened my heart and placed His inside mine. Now when my heart beats it is because His beat first.

I encourage you to let Him have your heart.

Embracing the Mess
TGIF Today God Is First, by Os Hillman

Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty, but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest. - Proverbs 14:4

................... Often we must go through a messy period of our lives in which all aspects of it are in disarray. It is in these times that God builds a new structure. He might remove some structural timbers in our lives and replace them with new ones. He might even add on another room. And unless this process takes place, we will never see the end product. The goal is more Christlikeness. In order to achieve this in us, He requires a period of removing all that is not of Him. It can be a painful process.

It would be impossible to keep oxen in a barn without having to clean up the mess from time to time. It just comes with the territory, but the result of the oxen is an abundant harvest. God may be allowing a mess in order to ensure a fruitful harvest in your life. Learn from Him so that you might experience the fulfillment of His purposes for you in these times.

The mucking out season eh? God spoke to me a wee while ago about the farrier's work. Cleaning out the hooves of the horses stinks, and God said - yep, I was in that process and I stank, but stuff had to be cleaned out before the hoof moulded and a new shoe put on. I remember this process too as my Dad always had horses. Interesting too about Proverbs - many of us are in the midst of the blog challenge for Proverbs this month. Thks for your comment and I have had some dreams and was praying for you too. I keep getting this picture of the wind of the Holy Spirit blowing you, lifting you, taking you to new places in God. It's 4am, and I'm awake, but that's OK. Time alone with God is premium.
