Thankful Thursday.

Good morning ladies.

Iris is talking about love today---- so I thought I would join in on that theme.

I had a wonderful, restful day yesterday. My husband was home so that enabled me to have a nap. I don't usually take naps so I LOVE that I got an opportunity to do that
and I did not even feel guilty.

I am a visual learner and I "get" things better when I can picture what someone is talking about. Because of this-- I am always loooking for pictures to put with my posts. This week I found a new web site with pictures that I can use for free. I LOVE THAT! Go check it out...stock.exchng .

While gone this summer my camera and purse were stolen. Yes, it was sad. But I love that God has taught me some neat lesson through the whole experience. And I love that I was able to purchase a new camera so that I can take pictures of a blogging buddy when she stops by this weekend. Do you know Holly from Crown Laid Down---that's her. So I will be abe to post some pictures of our visit! I LOVE THAT!

I could go on and on---i won't---I know you LOVE that!
But, I want to say how much I have realized this week that I can count on the Holy Spirit. First, I was going to take my Father-in-law to the ear specialist and I thought I would take them some watermelons. ( they came from our farm) I picked up three and "felt" that I should get one more. I almost did not listen. But, I went back for another. After the appointment I asked how many people were in the office and she said, "FOUR". Don't you just LOVE Him?

God is in the middle of perfecting this sista. That is not always an easy job for Him. I am learning a little about perseverance and not sitting down while on the job. This week God led me to the book of James. It was like He was saying, "O.K, I can see that you are not going to stop pestering me with your questions about what I am up to in your life----- so----go read James". I just LOVE how He gives me a little something to see along this narrow road of walking by faith. He sure knows me.
And He still loves me---you gotta LOVE that!

Oh dear, I am so sorry that your purse and camera were stolen. I do hope that all is clear with all your personal stuff, like ID, check-book, debit card?
Naps are a great thing. I usually can't take one during the week...How neat that you will be meeting with a blogging friend this weekend--looking forward seeing pictures of the two of you.
I love it when He points me to a Scripture, but love it even more that even though I have read it before, all of a sudden it makes sense to me :)
Thank you so much for sharing your thankfulness with us this week.

Be blessed today and always.

Thank you Sharon for your comment re my Dad, I will certainly take this to God because the last wee while (even last night) I was talking to the Lord about how I feel I cannot sing again due to hurtful experiences in Worship leading (I am soooo not a Worship leader and that's OK, but something was lost, flattened and as I prayed for my Dad last night I got diverted about that subject. So I feel the Holy Spirit has talked to you on a couple of levels here. Thank you. I love that you call me your tomorrow sister too, it blesses me.
