Sun, Sun and fish too! 2

I promised ya'll some new fishing pictures. So here they are. The day started out a little slow where the fish were concerned--but there was plenty of peace and quiet. The guys gave up soon after we got there and took off on the 4-wheelers to hunt a new hunting spot. Deer season just ended for the year and they are getting ready for next year already.
Linda and I had plenty of live minnows thanks to a new aerator that I just bought. It was cheap but it ran all day and I only lost two fish. We ended up only getting 6 fish between the two of us so we were nice and Linda kissed the fish and we let them go back to their moms. She really did kiss one of the fish---so not only did it get released but it also got a kiss. What more could you ask for?
The sun can out bright and hot and of course I did not put on any sun screen --although i had brought some. My face is red and so are my arms. We brought food for a picnic and what you don't leave home without --- plenty of Diet Coke. It was warm enough for the kids to swim--it made the day for them. The water was a little too cold for us older folks.
So we closed out the day by going to the farm to check on the growing watermelon plants. They are small but because they were planted a little early a guy told Keith they will take a little longer coming up because the nights are still cool.
The day was great and I did not have to cook dinner since we are having dinner on the grounds tomorrow and I have to cook for that. I am fixing--barbecue pork fingers, baked beans, and chocolate cake. The icing is great and easy. When you take the cake out of the oven pour a bag of choc. chips on top. Leave it a few minutes-they will soften--then spread them around. Sprinkle a little pecan on top if you like nuts. The icing gets hard as it cools and keeps the cake super moist.
I have lots more pictures but i don't want to aggravate those with dial up--"heard" some girls talking about that the other day. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow of my little church and dinner on the grounds. There will be plenty of food to go around! Please come back.

Sounds like you had a great day! Enjoyed the pictures and I love it that the fish were kissed before being set free.
